Lawrence “Larry” Green, 87, February 24, 2022; beloved husband and best friend of the late Gloria nee’ Gordon for 65 amazing years; loving father of Jeffrey (Marla), Steven, and Marla (Howard) Miller; cherished “Papa” of Jamie (Melissa Macon) Ellinger-Macon and Jackie (Justin) Perun; devoted great grandpa “Papa Larry” of Vera and Evelyn Macon and Davis and Carter Perun; dear brother, uncle and of many. Larry loved reading, listening to music and watching classic movies. He made sure we all appreciated the arts- music, theater, movies, and painting. Larry had a love for home cooking and was the slowest eater on earth -as the kitchen being cleaned around him was the norm and always made the family laugh. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory to the American Cancer Sociey (www.cancer.org ) would be greatly appreicated. We are so sorry for your loss. Larry and Gloria were special people and so glad to know them both. My relationship started with me doing Pest Control and then Handyman. It turned into a friendship through the years. Greg

Steven so sorry for the loss of slow eating but spiritually rich father Larry … it’s both your parents now … me too …. no matter when it happens you become an Orphan … We Orphans will stick together until we meet them again …. God Bless

Most of my memories were from when I was a little girl. I always adored Larry and Gloria- they were younger and cooler than all the other relatives- aunts and uncles. I loved how Larry always asked what I was creating and how he supported my inclination to pursue my art. Although we have lived many miles apart for all my adult life- the memories are sweet and he will be missed. It comforts me to think of him back with all those who have left us over these many years. May he Rest In Peace.
